An intimate celebration at Vail's finest locations

This couple could not have chosen a better wedding venue than the Vail Wedding Deck, which is located on the top of Vail Ski Resort near Eagle's Nest. Guests take a scenic ride up the Eagle Bahn gondola and are rewarded with sweeping views of the famous Mount of the Holy Cross and the northern end of the Sawatch mountain range, as well as views to the east of the stunning Gore Range. The wedding deck is a short walk from the top of the gondola, and Game Creek Club is a short shuttle ride to an Alpen style but well-appointed ski chalet. Their close-knit group of 50 fit comfortably in the main dining room. The groom's mother has many relatives overseas and wanted to live stream the wedding (back in the days before FaceBook Live) and with spotty internet and cell service on the mountain, I had my assistant take the camera media from the ceremony and upload it to the net so the family members who couldn't attend were able to watch it on YouTube before the champagne ran out!
